General terms and conditions
1. Introductory provisions
These terms govern the relationship between us (Contractor: David Kundrát, Company ID: [not yet set], registered office: [not yet set]) operating under the arwebia brand and you (Client). These terms are an integral part of every quote or Contract for Work.
2. Scope of cooperation
We create websites, logos and visual identities. The exact scope of work (what we deliver) is always specified in a written quote or in a Contract agreed by email. Anything not expressly written in the quote is considered “additional work”.
3. Price and payment terms
We do professional work and need peace of mind to do it. That’s why we apply the following:
- Deposit: Before any work starts we issue a deposit invoice for 50% of the total price. Work begins once the amount is credited to our account.
- Balance: The remaining 50% is invoiced after the finished work is delivered and approved, or after the site goes live on your domain.
- Invoice due date is 14 days as standard. If you’re late paying, we reserve the right to pause work or (after prior notice) make the site inaccessible until full payment.
4. Client cooperation
To create the website or graphics, we need materials from you (texts, photos, domain access).
- You undertake to provide all agreed materials on time.
- If you’re more than 14 days late delivering materials, our delivery deadline extends accordingly. If you go silent for more than 30 days, we have the right to end the project and invoice the work done so far.
5. Edits, revisions and “additional work”
We want you to be thrilled, but we have to protect our time:
- Every project (unless agreed otherwise) includes 2 rounds of minor revisions (e.g. moving text, changing a button colour, swapping a photo).
- Fundamental changes to the brief (e.g. “redo the whole design in red” after we agreed on green, or “add an e-shop” when we discussed a business-card site) and any 3rd and further rounds of edits are charged at an hourly rate of €24/hour. We always warn you about additional work in advance.
6. Delivery and copyright
- The work is considered delivered the moment we email it to you for approval, or deploy it to a test domain and you have no major comments within 5 working days.
- Copyright (the right to fully use the site and logo) passes to you only upon full payment of the entire amount (100% of the price). Until then the work is our property.
7. Support and warranty
- We stand by the website. If a bug caused by our code appears within 6 months of launch (e.g. a form stops working through our fault), we fix it free of charge.
- The warranty does not cover errors caused by your changes in the admin, third-party server outages or updates to external tools.
- Any further edits after delivery (adding new articles, photos, subpages) are outside the warranty and are handled either under a “Care plan” (site maintenance) or at an hourly rate.
8. Closing
Anything not written here is governed by the applicable laws of the Czech Republic (mainly the Civil Code). But we’re human and we believe everything can be sorted out with a decent conversation.
